Recap: Nanih Waiya Warriors vs. McAdams Bulldogs
There's no place like home for the Nanih Waiya Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against McAdams by a score of 57-44 on Tuesday. Given Nanih Waiya's advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while McAdams is ranked 210th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Nyshea Hoskin, who scored 41 points along with five steals. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Nanih Waiya's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexzandria Eiland, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Nanih Waiya's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. As for McAdams, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.
