Baseball Recap: Edison Falls Short of West Potomac in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Edison can now relate to. They lost 8-1 to the West Potomac Wolverines on Tuesday. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolverines from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

Edison has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. As for West Potomac, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season.

Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Potomac, they will face off against Alexandria City at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
