Baseball Game Preview: Dorman Cavaliers vs. Gaffney Indians

For the second straight game, Dorman will face off against Gaffney. The Cavaliers will venture away from home to face off against the Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Things were looking good for Dorman after they put the first runs on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gaffney. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Gaffney's part, Jace Bradbury was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave Bradbury a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Bright, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Bradbury wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Gaffney lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Dorman's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Gaffney, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.
