Baseball Recap: Nutley Takes a Loss

Nutley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Ridgewood Maroons, falling 19-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Maroon Raiders have suffered since May 20, 2024.

Nutley now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Ridgewood, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nutley will welcome Barringer at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Maroon Raiders are facing the Blue Bears at the right time seeing as the Blue Bears are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Ridgewood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northern Highlands at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
