Sacred Heart waltzed into their match on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the St. Paul Cardinals a 14-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-8 last Tuesday.

Sacred Heart's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for St. Paul, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
