Whitehouse owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mt. Pleasant Tigers by a score of 4-0. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Not much got past Taylor Morris, who gave up just three hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Mt. Pleasant off the board.

At the plate, Riley Ohlsen was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Kyndal Morris, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Whitehouse's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Mt. Pleasant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Whitehouse Wildcats face off against Texas Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Whitehouse 3.4, Texas 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will face off against Nacogdoches at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Pleasant is facing Nacogdoches at the right time seeing as Nacogdoches is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
