Football Game Preview: Lincolnton Wolves vs. Stuart W. Cramer Storm + How To Watch

Lincolnton is 0-3 against Stuart W. Cramer since August of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Storm at 7:30 p.m. Lincolnton is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.

On Friday, Lincolnton needed a bit of extra time to put away Shelby. They slipped by the Golden Lions 35-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted since October 25, 2024.

Lincolnton's defensive line made their presence known, laying out Lan Farmer eight times. Shelby's QB won't forget Jalaythan Mayfield anytime soon given he sacked him four times. Caedon Cash was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles.

Meanwhile, while Stuart W. Cramer put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for West Lincoln. The Storm were the clear victors by a 21-0 margin over the Rebels. The Storm might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Lincolnton better keep an eye on Dominick McCorkle. He was instrumental in Stuart W. Cramer's win, rushing for 87 yards and one score.

Lincolnton's record is now 7-1. As for Stuart W. Cramer, their record now sits at 5-2.

Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Rashad Lynch and Clee Phillips. Lynch just won't slow down this season and has thrown 18 touchdowns (and and only 3 picks) while averaging 198.6 passing yards per game. Phillips has been a dominant force too and has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 120.4 passing yards per game.

Lincolnton couldn't quite finish off Stuart W. Cramer in their previous matchup back in August of 2019 and fell 10-7. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
