Volleyball Recap: Niwot Extends Winning Streak to Four

Niwot came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Discovery Canyon Thunder with a sharp 3-0 win. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Thunder, too.

Bella Berger paced Niwot's offense, picking up 14 kills. Berger got some help from Harper Kellner and her 22 assists. Elise Arends controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Niwot's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Discovery Canyon, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Niwot wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Lewis-Palmer on the 31st. As for Discovery Canyon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Grandview on the 31st.
