Volleyball Recap: Mahpiya Luta Takes a Loss

Mahpiya Luta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Hot Springs Bison. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bison this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-15.

Mahpiya Luta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hot Springs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

After both having extra time off, Mahpiya Luta and St. Francis Indian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Crusaders their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Hot Springs, they will face off against Custer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
