Basketball Game Preview: Northside Patriots vs. Harris County Tigers

Northside and Harris County are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Northside Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Harris County Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Northside came up short against Griffin on Friday, falling 57-36. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Harris County came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Blue Devils 59-18. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 351st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Harris County is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Northside, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
