Football Recap: Middletown Starts Season with Win Against Troy

Middletown gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Troy Trojans by a score of 28-20. The Middies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Middletown and Troy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Middies are set to face off against their familiar foe Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Troy will square off against rival Xenia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
