Volleyball Game Preview: West Point Dragons vs. Shadow Ridge Stallions

The West Point Dragons will head out to challenge the Shadow Ridge Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

West Point took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Apollo. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Shadow Ridge got the win against Tolleson on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Shadow Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for West Point, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.

West Point suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Shadow Ridge in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
