Riverside had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They breezed past the Nebraska Lutheran Knights to the tune of 80-42. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Nebraska Lutheran's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Hoehler, who posted eight points. Hoehler is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 71% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Lukas Worster, who scored eight points.

Riverside's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Nebraska Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will square off against Central Valley at 7:30 p.m. on February 21st. As for Nebraska Lutheran, they will challenge Archangels Catholic on Saturday.
