Volleyball Recap: George Jenkins Starts off Right with Win over Durant + How To Watch

George Jenkins gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Durant Cougars.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant George Jenkins was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-13, 25-15.

Rhianna Burns paced George Jenkins' offense, picking up 14 kills. Burns got some help from Sydney Morrison and her 26 assists. Caty Whisenant controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

George Jenkins has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Montverde Academy on the 21st. As for Durant, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Robinson on the 21st.
