Warner had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Northwestern Area Wildcats 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Monarchs, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

Jaycee Jung paced Warner's offense, picking up 27 kills. Jung got some help from Tatum Hanson and her 29 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Northwestern Area lost on Friday, don't look at Tara Blachford. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs and four assists. Blachford is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Warner's victory bumped their record up to 34-6. As for Northwestern Area, the loss snapped their winning streak at 16 matches and leaves them with a 36-3 record.

Warner has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Chester on the 22nd. As for Northwestern Area, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Bennett County on the 22nd.
