Softball Recap: Mills Comes Up Short

Mills lost to San Mateo back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 5-3. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mills saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audrey Jang, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Mills' record now sits at 10-7. As for San Mateo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mills will head out to take on St. Ignatius College Preparatory at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for San Mateo, they will face off against Aragon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
