Football Game Preview: Monroe Dragons vs. Harrisburg Eagles + How To Watch

The Monroe Dragons will square off against the Harrisburg Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Monroe has given up an average of 35.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monroe is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 36 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Lowell on Friday. They were beaten by the Devils 76-6. The Dragons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harrisburg). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Central Linn 46-13. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Monroe better keep an eye on Chase Herrera. He was instrumental in Harrisburg's win, rushing for 201 yards and one TD, while also picking up 65 receiving yards and one score. Brody Phillips was another key player, gaining 121 total yards.

Harrisburg was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 303 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Harrisburg's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Monroe, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
