Basketball Recap: North Takes a Loss

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a blow against the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders, falling 64-16. The RedHawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-10.

Despite the loss, North still got an impressive performance from Joanna Ross, who posted ten points. Ross has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

North will face off against Derby at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North has given up an average of 63.4 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. Kapaun Mt. Carmel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
