Basketball Recap: Elk Grove Takes a Loss

Elk Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Johnsburg Skyhawks, falling 83-45.

Elk Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Johnsburg, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Elk Grove will be taking part in a tournament against South Elgin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Johnsburg, they will take on Prairie Ridge in a tournament on Thursday.
