Cyril faced Weleetka in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Pirates were outmatched by the Outlaws and fell 58-30. The matchup marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Cyril lost, don't look at Jeremih Alberty. Despite the final result, he rushed for 70 yards and one score.

It was another big night for Isaiah Drake, who rushed for 257 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 220 yards and one TD on only 17 passes for Weleetka. With that strong performance, Drake is now averaging an impressive 106.3 rushing yards per game. Noah Hare was another key player, gaining 95 total yards and two touchdowns.
