It's playoff time, and Bellingham had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Case Cardinals on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Blackhawks sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Mia Milani paced Bellingham's offense, picking up 20 kills. Milani got some help from Jacobi Houston and her 23 assists. Val Nolan controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Madisyn Mendonca, who had 18 digs and one assist.
Bellingham's victory bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Case, with the defeat, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 22-3.
As of now, neither Bellingham nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
