Baseball Recap: Bear River Comes Up Short

Bear River couldn't beat Walnut on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Bruins fell 8-4 to the Mustangs.

Seamus McKeown was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Bear River has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season. As for Walnut, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-11-1.

Looking ahead, Bear River will take on Village Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walnut, they will challenge Dos Pueblos at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
