The matchup between Bexley and Franklin Heights on Friday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Lions blew past the Falcons 15-6. That nine run margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

Bexley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Franklin Heights, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bexley will welcome Fredericktown at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Lions are facing the Freddies at the right time seeing as the Freddies are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Franklin Heights, they will take on Harvest Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.25 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
