Basketball Recap: North Iowa Comes Up Short

North Iowa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Forest City Indians and fell 77-38. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Indians are ranked 13th).

North Iowa's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Forest City, they pushed their record up to 17-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Iowa will head out to take on West Hancock at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forest City, they will venture away from home to square off against Waverly-Shell Rock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Forest City's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
