The Gatewood Gators's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Georgia Military College Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Gatewood came up short against Athens Christian on Saturday, falling 9-2.
Meanwhile, Georgia Military College came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Cavaliers onto the board and left with a 14-0 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.
Allie Deason was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi Mullis, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
