             Gilbert Classical Academy's game  last Monday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans as the Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans made off with  a  3-0 victory. Gilbert Classical Academy has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Leading Edge Academy - GEC, too.
 Gilbert Classical Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18,  25-19.
  Maria-Felicia Cristobal paced Gilbert Classical Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Cristobal got some help from 
 Caitlin Chua and her eight assists. Chua also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with 
 Mackenzie Redford, racking up two apiece.
 Despite the loss, Leading Edge Academy - GEC still got an impressive performance from   Anna Pena, who  had ten  digs, four  kills,  and two  aces.
 Gilbert Classical Academy's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 13-9. As for Leading Edge Academy - GEC, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record  this season.
 As of now, neither Gilbert Classical Academy nor Leading Edge Academy - GEC have any future games scheduled.
