Soccer Game Preview: Lathrop vs. Livingston

The Lathrop Spartans will take on the Livingston Wolves at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Lathrop is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Johansen 5-1 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Spartans needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Livingston's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They and Central Valley finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Wolves' first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Alejandro Avila, who's now up to seven this season.

With that draw, Livingston's record moves to 6-2-1. As for Lathrop, they now have a winning record of 5-4-3.
