It was a good run, but Spencer unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 60-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbus Catholic Dons. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-52 back in December of 2024.

Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Columbus Catholic, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Spencer will square off against Loyal at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Spencer knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Loyal likes a good challenge. Columbus Catholic has already played their next game, a 62-57 victory against Three Lakes on the 25th.
