Volleyball Recap: Dos Palos Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dos Palos lost against Avenal back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Broncos fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 3-2. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Dos Palos ultimately came up short, they really made Avenal work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 29-27, 25-13, 18-25, 15-12.

Yasmin Garcilazo went supernova For Avenal., getting 12 digs and five aces. Garcilazo has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played. Elisabel Serrano was another key player, getting 21 digs.

Dos Palos' loss dropped their record down to 10-15-1. As for Avenal, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-12-2 record this season.
