Softball Game Preview: North White Vikings vs. Attica Red Ramblers

North White is 1-6 against Attica since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Vikings are taking a road trip to square off against the Red Ramblers at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

North White managed to slip by Culver Community the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings lost 11-2 to the Cavaliers on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

North White saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adriann Conn, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

North Vermillion hit Attica with a 13-run seventh inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Red Ramblers came up short against the Falcons, falling 19-3. The Red Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North White's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Attica, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

North White suffered a grim 18-7 defeat to Attica when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
