Baseball Recap: Elizabethtown Comes Up Short

The Elizabethtown Panthers came up short against the Russell County Lakers on Saturday and fell 5-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elizabethtown's defeat dropped their record down to 24-10. As for Russell County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Elizabethtown and Russell County will both be playing Bowling Green the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Purples at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Lakers will play them later in the day, at 3:15 p.m.
