Soccer Recap: Salida Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Salida won the last time they faced Fountain Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Spartans put the hurt on the Danes with a sharp 7-1 victory. With Salida ahead 5-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting Fountain Valley from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Eben Mayton led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win (which was Salida's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Fountain Valley, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.
