While Prescott's victory against Mingus wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Badgers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Marauders 5-3. The victory continues a trend for the Badgers in their matchups with the Marauders: they've now won nine in a row.

William Horn made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Matthew 'Matt' Hepperle was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Another player making a difference was Brody Hanna, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Prescott's record is now 16-8. As for Mingus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

Prescott will have a chance to go back-to-back against Mingus: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
