Volleyball Recap: Nixon-Smiley Comes Up Short

Nixon-Smiley saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Jones Trojans. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10.

Nixon-Smiley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Jones, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Looking ahead, Nixon-Smiley will head out on the road to square off against Runge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jones, they will be taking part in a tournament against Refugio at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
