Iraan is headed out to face Compass Academy after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Iraan took their matchup at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 51-8 win over Smyer.
Iraan relied on the efforts of Prather Schneemann, who threw for 179 yards and a touchdown on only 13 passes, and Tristan Griffin, who rushed for 135 yards on only nine carries.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Iraan was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 451 total yards. That's the most total yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.

Meanwhile, Compass Academy had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of Sterling City by a score of 41-38. Compass Academy hasn't had much luck with Sterling City recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Compass Academy saw an underclassman step up: MAXWELL TUCKER rushed for 105 yards on only five carries. TUCKER got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible75 yards.
