Baseball Recap: West Henderson Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for West Henderson's offense. They fell just short of the North Henderson Knights by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

West Henderson is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11-1. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for North Henderson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-8.

While West Henderson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
