Westlake had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Del Valle on Tuesday. The Chaparrals were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Cardinals. Considering the Chaparrals have won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Westlake's record is now 22-4-1. As for Del Valle, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15-1 record this season.
