Baseball Recap: Cedarville Takes a Loss

Cedarville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-4 to the Two Rivers Gators. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 20-17 to the Gators when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cedarville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xavier Estes, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Cedarville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Two Rivers, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Cedarville will take on Lavaca at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Two Rivers, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Western Yell County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
