Soccer Recap: Coral Reef Takes a Loss

Coral Reef was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the American Patriots.

Coral Reef's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-4. As for American, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coral Reef will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Southridge at 3:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. American will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Hialeah at 1:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
