After flying high against Irvington Preparatory Academy last Saturday, Monrovia came back down to earth. The Monrovia Bulldogs took a hard 64-49 fall against the Greencastle Tiger Cubs on Thursday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tiger Cubs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Monrovia's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Clay Tharp, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 17 points in addition to six assists and four steals, and Hayden Mccloud, who went 8-for-18 en route to 21 points and seven rebounds. Those four steals gave Tharp a new career-high.
