Soccer Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beauregard Hornets. Valley were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Beauregard earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Valley's goal came courtesy of Daniela Cardenas, which was the first she's scored this season.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Beauregard, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-9.

Coming up, Valley will host Lee-Scott Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beauregard, they are taking a road trip to challenge Marbury at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
