Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Legacy). They came out on top against the Rancho Rams by a score of 16-12 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Longhorns considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Madison Castellon and Sofia Nazario did most of the damage at the plate: Castellon went 2-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs, while Nazario scored three runs while going 3-for-5. That's the most runs Nazario has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kitana Tuinei, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Legacy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They got six more hits than Rancho's also-impressive total of 11.
