Basketball Recap: New Berlin Takes a Loss

New Berlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Williamsville Bullets, falling 52-27. The Pretzels were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bullets from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Williamsville was led to victory by Blake Shoufler and Carson Doran. Shoufler posted 13 points and three steals, while Doran almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brayden Saling, who scored eight points and three steals.

New Berlin's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Williamsville, their victory bumped their record up to 26-3.

Coming up, New Berlin will look to defend their home court on Friday against Maroa-Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. As for Williamsville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williamsville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season.
