Prospect can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Evergreen Valley Cougars by a score of 7-3. The win was just what Prospect needed coming off of an 11-1 defeat in their prior contest.

Caleb Entwisel looked comfortable as he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn't allow any walks). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Prospect let Ellis Lubiens and Kyle Pollace loose on the outfield. Lubiens scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Pollace scored a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Castillo, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

On Evergreen Valley's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Andin, who went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
