Baseball Recap: Lancaster Takes a Loss

Lancaster fell victim to Mesquite and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Skeeters. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Lancaster saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Ortega, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Lancaster now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Mesquite, their win bumped their record up to 16-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Skeeters beat Lancaster by a score of 7-3 on Friday.
