There's no place like home for Westover, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past the Harnett Central Trojans with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 69-53. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won nine in a row.

Despite the loss, Harnett Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Rylan Beasley dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Beasley has become a key player for Harnett Central: the team is 6-3 when he posts at least eight boards, but 4-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Kyrese Williams, who posted 15 points.

Westover's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points over those games. As for Harnett Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 16 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.
