Jefferson had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Word of God Academy Force by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Thursday.

Word of God Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Kallie Pizarro and Devah Davis. Pizarro had 12 digs and one assist, while Davis had three digs, three aces, and one block.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Word of God Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will challenge Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Word of God Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Carlisle on the 16th.
