Recap: American Christian School vs. Dickinson Rams
After flying high against Trinity Christian last Monday, American Christian School came back down to earth. American Christian School was the victim of a tough 84-63 defeat at the hands of Dickinson on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
American Christian School's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Japhet Santiago, who scored 21 points, and Caleb Ritchwood who scored 22 points. The contest was Ritchwood's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Christian Cilento, who scored eight points.
American Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Dickinson, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
American Christian School will be home for the holidays to greet Faith Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dickinson, they will head out on the road to face off against Bayonne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Bayonne presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dickinson in New Jersey (Bayonne is ranked fifth, while Dickinson is ranked 33rd).
