Softball Recap: Eight Straight Home Victories for West

West not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 29th (when they won 11-4). They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the North Saxons. The Warriors have beaten the Saxons the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Saxons has come to flipping the script.

West's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season.
