Football Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short at Home Against Lyons/Sodus

Wayne unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Lyons/Sodus on Friday, falling 34-8. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 26-19 to Lyons/Sodus when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wayne didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-8 defeat against Lyons on the 5th. As for Lyons/Sodus, they will take on Geneva at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
